Why doesn't the number of new messages appear on the app icon when I receive them on the LINE or Facebook app? (Xperia 1VII)

For models released after April 2025, the number of notifications will no longer be shown on the app icon. Instead, a dot will appear when new notifications are received. This display follows the app's notification settings, so make sure the Notification setting is turned on if you want to see the dot.
