The player does not eject the disc.

    How to resolve if the player does not eject the disc?

    The disc tray does not open and you cannot remove the disc even after you press 

    Please follow the procedure below:
    1. Turn off the player and disconnect the AC power cord.
    2. Reconnect the AC power cord while pressing down the  (Open/Close) button on the player.
    3. Keep pressing down the  (Open/Close) button on the player until the tray opens.
    4. Remove the disc.
    5. Depends on the model:

      • When WAIT appears in the front panel display, hold down on the player for more than 10 seconds until the player turns on again.
      • When OPEN appears on the front panel display, hold down on the player for more than 10 seconds until the player turns off.

    The disc tray does not open and LOCKED or TLK ON appears on the front panel display. 
    • When LOCKED appears, the player is locked. To cancel the Child Lock, hold down on the player until UNLOCK appears on the front panel display.
    • When TLK ON appears, contact your Sony dealer or local authorised Sony service facility.
