The touchpad of the left main unit doesn't respond (Xperia Ear Duo)

You may experience that the left touchpad of your Xperia Ear Duo doesn't seem to work well or doesn't respond at all.

Try these methods one after the other. Verify whether the problem was solved after each method, before trying the next one.

    • Charge the charging case.
    • Check that there are no objects in the charging case that don't belong there, and then place the left main unit in the charging case, and let it charge for 5 seconds.
    • Remove the left main unit from the charging case.
    • If the LED of the left main unit flashes twice in white, the main unit is turned on.
    • When sliding your finger along the touchpad, make sure that you move your finger firmly and not too quickly. Do not swipe as you would on a touchscreen.
    • Make sure that you don't tap the touchpad too quickly or too slowly, especially when you double-tap or triple-tap. Try to make each tap more distinct than you would on a touchscreen.
    • If the touchpad still doesn't respond, restart the left main unit.
