Shoot Fast and View in HD with Sony’s Cyber-shot™ Camera DSC- T20 with Bionz Imaging Processor

Sony introduces their latest Cyber-shot™ camera DSC- T20, incorporating Bionz imaging processor and dynamic range, with face detection technology and HD output to view high-quality still images. With Sony’s advanced Bionz imaging processor, the latest Cyber-shot™ T-series cameras can capture higher image quality in high speed with its fast processing power for quick motion shoots for the accurate moment. Users can enjoy these high quality photos in details with friends and families on their full 1920 x 1080 resolution HD television made possible by the HD output in the cameras via optional cables. The new implemented face detection technology automatically produces neutral tones for brighter and natural feel for portrait shots and group photos.

Key camera features available in Cyber-shot™ T20 include Super SteadyShot™ technology which corrects inevitable movements and high ISO of up to 6400 for shooting without flash, producing sharper and clearer photos. It is compatible with Sony’s GPS unit (GPS-CS1) to track each photo with the Picture Motion Browser image software. Users can also have fun editing the photos on the camera after shooting with red-eye correction, trimming images and additional touch-up filter functions for extra effects.
Cyber-shot™ T20 – With 8.1 mega-pixel resolution and up to 3x optical zoom for the fashion conscious
The new Cyber-shot™ T20 has a 3x optical zoom. With the additional 1cm magnifying glass and marco mode, user can shoot close-up object at 1 cm or faraway target during sporting events in absolute details to cover all lengths. Its enhanced noise reduction processing improves high-sensitivity shooting and increases speed and precision for AF, AE and AWB (3As), optimizing dynamic range and colour reproduction to produce sharp and richer photos in both dim and bright environments.
Designed for the fashion conscious, the Cyber-shot™ T20 series is available in pink, silver, black and white. The 8.1 mega-pixel Cyber-shot™ T20 camera will be available in Malaysia in April 2007.
Complete the HD experience with Cyber-shot™ T20 solution kits
Introduced for the first time, Sony is offering an all-in-one solution kit for Cyber-shot™ T20 for viewing of images on a high-definition TV and printing of the desired image immediately on a printer simply with a remote control. This kit includes a docking station that charges the Cyber-shot™ camera, a DPP-FPHD1 printer and a HD cable to connect to the TV. The DPP-FPHD1 printer employs Sony’s refined dye-sublimation technology to produce natural-coloured tones in approximately 16.77 million shades per pixel, printing 1 photo in about 48 seconds. For those who simply want to share the photos on a high-definition TV with friends and families, Sony offers an alternative solution kit with a high-definition cable to link to the TV with Cyber-shot™ T20.
Both solution kits will be available in Asia Pacific in April 2007.
