In order to help filmmakers review footage live, the Xperia can be connected to Sony Cinema Line Full-frame camera FX3 and used as an external monitor.

Compared with a standard compact monitor, Xperia is light, especially when placed on a gimbal. The Xperia displays FX3 camera images and allows the camera to be fully remote-controlled.
