Resolving issues with your earbuds or headphones

    If your earbuds or headphones are not working properly, a temporary issue may be causing the problem. Try the steps below in order.

    About reset and initialisation:

    • Reset and initialisation methods vary by model and can be found in the Troubleshooting section of the Help Guide for your Sony earbuds or headphones.
    • You can find the Help Guide on your product’s support page by searching for your model here.
    • For connected devices such as smartphones or computers, refer to the device manual.
    1. Turn the earbuds or headphones off, then on again

    2. Restart the connected device, such as your computer or smartphone

    3. Reset your earbuds or headphones

      Note: Resetting does not delete pairing information or other settings.

    4. Initialise your earbuds or headphones

      If the issue continues after a reset, try initialising your earbuds or headphones.

      Careful: Initialising restores the factory settings and deletes all pairing information. You will need to pair the earbuds or headphones again.
