    Switching between your Bluetooth devices

    Use this page to learn how to switch your earbuds or headphones between multiple devices, for example, listening on your smartphone or Walkman while you’re out, then switching to a tablet or computer at home.

    Switch the connection to another device

    Before switching connections, pair your earbuds or headphones with each playback device you want to use.

    For pairing instructions, check the Help Guide for your model.

    Note: When you turn on your earbuds or headphones, they reconnect to the last device they were connected to. To switch to another device, change the connection in that device’s Bluetooth settings or in the Sony | Sound Connect app.

    Follow these steps to switch the connection of your earbuds or headphones to an Android phone or tablet.

    1. Open [Settings].

    2. Select [Bluetooth], then select your earbuds or headphones under [Paired devices].

    3. Check that the status changes to [Connected for audio and calls].

    Troubleshooting connection issues

    If you still can’t switch to another device after following the steps above, try the following.

    1. Turn off Bluetooth on the device your earbuds or headphones were last connected to.

      Note: Do not select options such as Forget this device or Unpair, as this will remove your earbuds or headphones from the paired device list.

    2. Try connecting again using the steps above for the device you want to use.
