The new Voice Zoom 3™ feature automatically adjusts voice levels to make dialogue easier to hear. You can increase or reduce voice volume without affecting background sounds.
How to turn on Voice Zoom 3
Follow these steps to enable and adjust Voice Zoom 3:
- On the remote control, press the Quick Settings (
or
) button.
- Select Voice Zoom.
- Adjust the Voice Zoom level
- Zero or higher increases voice clarity (up to +6).
- Below zero reduces voice volume, making it harder to hear.
Supported devices
Voice Zoom 3 works with:
- TV speakers
Note: To configure Voice Zoom 3 for your speakers:- On the remote control, press the Quick Settings button.
- Select Settings.
- Select Display & Sound.
- Select Picture & Sound.
- Select Sound Quality (TV speakers).
- Select Post-process settings.
- Select Standard.
- Sony audio devices that support Voice Zoom 3
Make sure your TV and other audio devices have the latest software update installed. You can download and install the latest software update for your TV model or Sony audio devices from the Sony Support website. Refer to the How to perform a software update article for more information.
Notes:
- When using TV speakers, Voice Zoom 3 is not available if:
- Audio is output simultaneously to wired headphones or a Bluetooth device.
- A wireless speaker is connected.
- When a Sony audio device that supports Voice Zoom 3 is connected, Voice Zoom 3 may not be available if:
- Digital audio output is set to Pass-through priority.
- Audio is output simultaneously to wired headphones or a Bluetooth device.
- Audio from another device (such as a DVD player) is routed to the TV through the audio device.
- The audio device is set to a specific sound mode.
