How can I find files that I have received or downloaded on my smartphone?

How do I locate files I received using Bluetooth?

     

     

    If your Android version is Android 12 or higher, try the following method to locate a file.

    You can use the built-in file manager Files app to locate, move, copy, rename or share files that you downloaded or received using Bluetooth®.

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to the top and find the Files app in the app drawer.
    2. Tap Downloads to find downloaded or received files.
      If your device has an external SD card, try also to find in SD card → Downloads.

    Hint: You can also choose a folder according to the category of received files. (Example: Image for photos, Audio for music files) And then tap Downloads.

    Note: The following screenshots may vary depending on the Android version.

     

     

    If your Android version is Android 8 and above, up to 11, try the following method.

    1. Find and tap Settings → Storage.
    2. Find and tap Files. If your device has and external SD card, tap internal shared storage.
    3. Tap Downloads. If your device is Android 10, Android 9 or Android 8, tap Bluetooth to find files received by Bluetooth.

    Hint: You can download a Files app from the Google Play™ Store for file management.
