Interchangeable Lens - “SEL30M35”, "SEL50F18" & "SEL18200LE" firmware update

Sony is offering a firmware update for Interchangeable E-mount lenses “SEL30M35”, "SEL50F18" and "SEL18200LE".

[Applicable model name of the product]
Interchangeable E-mount lenses “SEL30M35”, "SEL50F18" and "SEL18200LE".
* Sony provides update service only for SEL18200LE.

[Applicable firmware version of the units]
The applicable products are with the firmware version “Ver.01”.

[Contents of update]
1) Provides the "Fast Hybrid AF" function
2) The firmware of "NEX-5R" or "NEX-6" camera also needs to be updated in addition to this firmware update.
     *Without updating the firmware of the lens, the camera utilizes contrast-detection AF.
3) The firmware update can be performed only when the lens is attached to NEX-5R or NEX-6. You cannot perform
     the firmware update using other camera.
