I'm unable to connect or register my device in the BRAVIA Connect app during setup

If you can't connect your audio device or home theater system using the BRAVIA Connect app, check the instructions below depending on when the connection fails.

1: The device isn't found in the BRAVIA Connect app during the initial setup

2: The app doesn't respond even when the smartphone is close to the soundbar or home theater system

    • Bring your smartphone as close to the device as possible. Depending on where you hold the smartphone, you may not be able to establish a connection. For details, see the information displayed in the BRAVIA Connect app.

    3: The Bluetooth pairing fails

4: The network settings fail (for wired LAN connections)

    • Make sure your smartphone and soundbar/home theater system are connected to the same network.

5: The network settings fail (for wireless LAN connections)

    • Make sure your smartphone and soundbar/home theater system are connected to the home network.
    • If the wireless connection setting is OFF on the soundbar or home theater system, turn it on. For details, refer to your device's Help Guide.
