..I've had HT-S20R back in Iloilo. With my sound preferences, it ticked everything in my box and more! Love the sound (cinema, voice, music) features! Enhances ones experience! So, I bought one again! For the house here. Loved it!

If louder the sound quality breaks and bass is not nice.

I bought it few weeks ago. The sound is not clear enough and couldn't adjust the bass and treble. Probably this is budget model? So without this function. In this purchase, it's still worth to buy because come with 5.1channel and the sound is acceptable.

I'm like sitting in a cinema watching a movie listening to a very good sound bar system…the surround sound which 2 speakers, subwoofer & sound bar make my living area fantastic, energetic & adventure emmersive while watching movies. I love it 🥰… Thanks SONY!

Bass is there but not very loud but overall quality good

The bass is quite good but the details especially when hearing conversations is need to be improved. One more thing is the length of the cable for the small L-R speaker. It is need to be longer and I cannot found it in the market.

While it states Dolby Digital sound, It works well when using Apple TV, Netflix, Prime Video.Unfortunately total waste for HBO Go as it does not disseminate 5.1 channel sound. The sound is better amplified with Blu Rays and 4k offering Dolby Digital/Atmos sounds. It impressed me even further when I hooked up my X-Box series X and PS5...thats where the sound gave a real triumph ! The background noises, the swishing and swishooing of things flying past the screen...All i need now is a projector to convert my room to a cinema hall.Well Done Sony!

I recently purchased a soundbar for my 600 sq ft space. While the sound quality is decent, it doesn't quite fill the room as I had hoped. The bass lacks depth, and the overall volume isn't as powerful as expected for a larger area. Additionally, I was disappointed that the salesman didn't mention key features like Dolby Atmos, which would have been useful to know before purchasing. If you're considering this soundbar for a bigger space, you might want to look for one with more robust sound capabilities and clearer information on features.

Good decent sound with affordable price. Good enough for a small 3-bedroom apartment.

I could say that this is one of the cheapest 5.1ch on the market. Given the price, the sound is very impressive. I like rumbling of the bass plus the surround speakers.

The product is good for a small-sized home, the sound quality is good, but the volume handling is a little hard, on some applications the sound is loud, and on some it is not so loud and requires high volume of around 70+

I bought this a few weeks ago. I love the sound. It would be good if the display can be on the soundbar instead of the woofer. I placed the woofer on the floor. It's very difficult to see especially when using the menu to make adjustments. The woofer volume can be adjusted individually but not the rear speakers.

Easy to connect BT via Bravia TV , set up very easy , packing well.

My sound bar is not working anymore so I shop for a new sound bar within my budget. The design & bigger watts are what I am attracted HT-20 SR. After two weeks of burn-in, the speaker sounds even better. Like many sound bars, the mids from the central speakers are over-shadowed by the thumping bass. This can be remedied by switching to ‘voice’ mode. HT-20 SR is indeed worth the money with its features.

Bought the Sony HT-S20r last month. Been using it frequently and was very thorough on testing it out. Without the rear speakers, It’s still has a very powerful sound. But installing the rear speakers was just night and day. It’s very powerful despite the size of the rear speakers. Please note that this unit might be designed for compact or small living rooms due to the wire length. The only downside is the rear speaker wires were not that long so I have to put the sub speaker above ground so the wires would fit since the wires were ceiling mounted. However, the good things is the sub is front-firing so it is not necessary to have it on the floor just to feel that powerful bass. As long as the rear speakers are installed correctly which is ear or head height, you should still catch the surround sound feeling. To conclude, this is a very powerful soundbar/home theater setup for its price. It is not the cheapest in the market but definitely not expensive compared to other known brands in the market. Its price is within kind of mid-range. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Salah satu alasan memilih HT-S20R karena selain nama Sony yang fokus pada Audo-Video, bluetooth, HDMI ARC, Optical Input, juga karena sudah 5.1ch dan menggunakan kabel sebagai penghubung ke subwoofer dan dua speaker lainnya, terkesan jadul tapi hal ini jelas no issue delay suara untuk jangka pendek atau pun jangka panjang dibandingkan wireless (antara soundbar ke subwoofer). Suaranya walau belum mengusung teknologi Dolby DTS tetapi sudah lebih dari ekspektasi yang saya harapkan, suara bass nya dapat menggetarkan beberapa kaca dirumah, suara vocal bersih dan jelas, tidak membikin kuping lelah, berasa sekali nonton film di bioskop. Overall HT-S20R sangat melebihi ekspektasi saya, harga tergolong ramah dikantong, suara untuk nonton film ataupun dengarkan musik sangat menyenangkan (Netflix, HBO-GO, Disney+, Youtube yang pasti memiliki kualitas suara baik). Saya berharap sewaktu-waktu pihak Sony Indonesia mengadakan program tukar-tambah dan saya dapat dikabarkan, karena saya ingin memiliki soundbar Dolby Atmos. Sukses selalu buat Sony

The sound quality is good and surprisingly strong bass. Everything is excellent except the 5.1Ch isn’t there yet and it doesn’t support Wi-Fi features such as Spotify Connect. But yea am satisfied and do recommend it.
