A key benefit of Translucent Mirror Technology is the ability to enjoy sharp, focused images and movies at all times. It has a Continuous Advance Priority AE mode that also lets you shoot high-speed sequences up to 10 frames per second (fps). With Continuous Auto-Focus, A-mount SLT cameras enable responsive action with continued clarity while zoomed in, or with moving subjects.
Unlike regular DSLRs, the α SLT camera offers fast, accurate and continuous focus on moving subjects using Phase-Detection AF, to easily create professional-looking movies. A benefit of Sony’s Translucent Mirror Technology, this allows tracking of subjects on the move without delay and greater clarity, in Full HD.
