Parts of the body and case of LinkBuds S x Olivia Rodrigo are made from factory-recovered plastic and reclaimed water bottles, as well as recycled plastic materials from automobile parts. This gives them their characteristic marble pattern. Inevitable variations in the marble pattern mean that no two pairs of LinkBuds S x Olivia Rodrigo are the same.

Approximately 4.8 grams in weight, Linkbuds S is the world‘s smallest and lightest, noise canceling, Hi-Res truly wireless headphones. We've kept the size down by both developing a compact driver and integrating the Bluetooth® Audio SoC (System on Chip) and high quality noise cancelling processor in one single chip. It’s 40% smaller than the WF-1000XM4.
Comfortable and secure
LinkBuds S combines a shape that perfectly matches the human ear with an ergonomic design for a more stable fit. We’ve designed LinkBuds S utilising extensive ear shape data collated since introducing the world’s first in-ear headphones in 1982, as well as evaluation of the sensitivity of various types of ears to ensure an ideal shape that is comfortable for many people.
Transparent ambient sound or high quality noise cancelling
These earbuds give you the best of both worlds - Sony's best transparent ambient sound in truly wireless headphones when you want to interact with your world, high quality noise cancelling when you need to focus. LinkBuds S automatically switches between Ambient Sound Mode and noise cancelling depending on where you are and what you're doing.
Adjusts ambient sound to whatever you do for all-day wearing
Adaptive Sound Control is a smart function that senses where you are and what you’re doing, then adjusts ambient sound settings for the ideal listening experience. Over time, it learns your behaviour and recognises locations that you frequently visit, such as your workplace or a favourite café, and tailors sound to suit the situation.
A new sound experience for AR gaming
If you’re looking for new entertainment options beyond music and calls, LinkBuds S use new sensor and spatial sound technology to deliver immersive sound for Augmented Reality games like ‘Ingress’ from Niantic.
When playing ‘Ingress’ using LinkBuds S, sensor and spatial sound technology deliver a new experience, with sound delivered from different directions according to the action in the game with head tracking.

Auto Play delivers music and audio notifications just when you need them. Music plays at your preferred timings, such as when you're putting your headphones on or starting to walk for a break, uplifting your mood effortlessly. Audio notification reminds you of all your important events, so your phone can stay safely in your pocket. With Precise Voice Pickup Technology that optimally controls microphones on the outside and inside of the earbud, and advanced audio signal processing, conversations are ultra clear, even in noisy environments. Our noise reduction algorithm was developed with AI machine learning using over 500 million voice samples to suppress ambient noise and extract your voice clearly.

You can set Speak-to-Chat to automatically pause the music as soon as you speak to someone, so you can hear just ambient sound and conduct a conversation – handy if you want to keep your headphones on or your hands are full. And once your chat is over, your music starts playing again automatically.

LinkBuds S supports Google’s helpful new Fast Pair feature. It lets you easily locate where you left your headphones by tone sound, or checking their last known location in Google’s Find My Device app on your smartphone.
Easy pairing with your computer
Swift Pair makes it quick and easy to pair your headphones with your Windows 11 or Windows 10 laptop, desktop PC or tablet. Pop-up pairing guidance appears on nearby Windows 11 or Windows 10 devices when pairing mode is selected.
Multipoint connection
For total convenience, these Bluetooth® headphones can be paired with two Bluetooth devices at the same time. So when a call comes in, your headphones know which device is ringing and connect to the right one automatically. Every pair helps the ‘Protect our Oceans’ project
Sony contributed a total of USD 1 million, including USD 500,000 from the sales of LinkBuds S to Conservation International over 2022-2023, to help protect an area of ocean equivalent to 29,400 square kilometers (11,350 square miles). This investment is helping to reinvigorate degraded marine areas and restore the ocean's ability to provide for all of us.
