When viewing digital broadcasts, the picture is blurry.

You can sometimes reduce the blur by changing picture quality settings below.

1. Set Digital noise reduction to Low.
   1. Open the Settings screen. How to access Settings
      • If the remote control has a Quick Settings button:
        1. On the remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
        2. Select Settings.
      • If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings button:
        1. On the remote control, press the HOME button.
        2. Select Settings.
   2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select Display & Sound — Picture — Advanced Settings — Clarity.
        Note: If Advanced Settings is not shown, select Clarity.
      • Select Display & Sound — Picture adjustment — Advanced — Clarity.
      • Select Display & Sound — Picture adjustment — Advanced Settings — Clarity.
      • Select BRAVIA Settings — Picture adjustments — Advanced settings — Clarity.
      • Select Picture & Display — Picture adjustments — Advanced settings — Clarity.
      • Select Display — Picture — Advanced Settings — Clarity. 
   3. Select Digital noise reduction and set to Low.
2. Adjust the Sharpness.

        2. Select Settings.
      • If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings button:
        1. On the remote control, press the HOME button.
        2. Select Settings.

      • Select Display & Sound — Picture — Advanced Settings — Clarity.
        Note: Advanced Settings is not shown, select Clarity.
      • Select Display & Sound — Picture adjustment — Advanced — Clarity.
      • Select Display & Sound — Picture adjustment — Advanced Settings — Clarity.
      • Select BRAVIA Settings — Picture adjustments — Advanced settings — Clarity.
      • Select Picture & Display — Picture adjustments — Advanced settings — Clarity.
      • Select Display — Picture — Advanced Settings — Clarity.
   3. Adjust the Sharpness.
3. Reduce the current Gamma value by 1.

        2. Select Settings.
      • If the remote control does not have a Quick Settings button:
        1. On the remote control, press the HOME button.
        2. Select Settings.

      • Select Display & Sound — Picture — Advanced Settings — Brightness.
        Note: If Advanced Settings is not shown, select Brightness.
      • Select Display & Sound — Picture adjustment — Advanced — Brightness.
      • Select Display & Sound — Picture adjustment — Advanced Settings — Brightness.
      • Select BRAVIA Settings — Picture adjustments — Advanced settings — Brightness.
      • Select Picture & Display — Picture adjustments — Advanced settings — Brightness.
      • Select Display — Picture — Advanced Settings — Clarity.
   3. Reduce the current Gamma value by 1.

Note:  If the above settings do not improve the issue:

• Try changing Random Noise Reduction setting. Random Noise Reduction item is displayed when Clarity is selected.
• If your TV is connected to digital antenna, check that the antenna cable core is not bent, broken or loose. Loose connections between the terminal and cable may result in incorrect signal reception, or broadcast sound and image distortion. Try connect to another digital antenna.
