Kuala Lumpur, 5th February – Sony Malaysia expands its Cyber-shot collection to include the new addition to its T series camera range. Sporting once again, the signature colourful fresh looks and trendy design, the new Cyber-shot Skinny T (T90) comes with intelligent features and powerful imaging capabilities to make taking photos stylish yet effortless.

New features in the new Cyber-shot Skinny T include 720p High Definition (HD) movie recording with 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution at 30 frames per second, resulting in impressive imaging quality for both photos and videos. This latest collection also features Intelligent Auto mode, allowing the camera to automatically determine the optimal settings for each scene using Intelligent Scene Recognition, and up to 12-megapixel resolution for high quality image capture.

Cyber-shot Skinny T – the latest in fashion accessory

Available in a wide range of stylish colours, the touch panel Cyber-shot Skinny T (T90) camera features enhanced performance with even slimmer dimensions at 13.9mm¹. For easy viewing and editing, images are clearly displayed on the large 3.0-type Clear Photo LCD. Coupled with the Super HAD CCD image sensor and Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 4x optical zoom lens, this new Cyber-shot T90 features 12.1-megapixel resolution with exceptional sharpness. For equally stunning moving images, the camera also features 720p HD movie recording, allowing the recording of 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution HD movies at 30 frames per second. The high compression MPEG-4 format visual codec enables high movie quality.

In addition to that, the new T90 is also enabled with the all-new Intelligent Auto Mode, selectable via the camera. When active, this mode automatically activates Intelligent Scene Recognition, allowing users to enjoy carefree shooting with optimal settings automatically determined by the camera, without the need to make unnecessary and troublesome setting adjustments. Implemented for the first time in the Cyber-shot range of cameras, the newly added Smile shutter button can be used together with Intelligent Auto mode thus capturing beautiful smiles at the optimised settings.

Equipped with Sony’s high speed BIONZ image processor and Clear RAW Noise Reduction, Cyber-shot T90 delivers high-resolution, noise-free images with faster performance. Sony’s Double “Anti-blur” solution also combines the benefits of Optical SteadyShot and ISO3200 high sensitivity to prevent blur images from being captured.

The new Cyber-shot Skinny T will be available in the market from 20^th March 2009 onwards at all participating Sony Style outlets and Sony authorized dealers. The new Cyber-shot Skinny T is available in Pink, Blue, Espresso, Silver and Black.
