Sleek and clean exterior. Simple to operate. Great sound output.

Bought this for multi-room audio. Upon opening the box, tapped phone on the NFC and set up with SongPal app. It tells me an update is available, make sure you don't switch it off during the update. You'll need to power cycle it after the update for it to show up on Google Home. From there, I used Google Home to setup an audio group with 2 SRS-ZR7s and a Chromecast Audio. I'm able to cast to the audio group from Spotify, TuneIn Radio and my android music player app. I have a Yamaha AV receiver with 5.1 speakers setup and compared to that, these Sonys does an amazing job in the sound it produces as well as going very loud without crackling. Haven't tried the stereo mode.

This is my first experience with a wireless unit, previously i was accustomed to wired (Marantz amplifier driving a pair of bookshelf speakers). What i am astounded was the ease of connection, no drop outs, versatile. The sound is better than what i expected at normal volumes, the system does not respond so well at high volumes (understandable due to its small size). Overall, im very satisfied with the purchase, and might consider the bigger X99
