How to resolve when TV displays "Connection status cannot be confirmed" message and cannot perform the firmware update?

There may be a problem with the network connection. Verify that the network connection and settings are correct.

  1. Check the Ethernet cable to make sure it is securely connected to the LAN(100) terminal on the player and to the Internet source.
  2. Check the BD Player network settings and confirm that the player has its own IP address.
    Note: If you use a proxy server, enter the IP address of the proxy server you use, instead of the proxy host name, in the Proxy Server input field.
  3. Confirm both Physical Connection and Internet Access are OK in Network Settings → Network Connection Status.
  4. Follow the Network Update Instructions again.
